Tinton Falls, N.J. (Jan. 11, 2018) – Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that it has entered into a corporate partnership with triminoTM protein infused water. As part of the relationship, Sky Blue FC and triminoTM will be teaming up to find the Youth Soccer Organization of the Year, with nominations for the award being accepted online throughout the 2018 NWSL season.

“We are very excited to begin working with triminoTM in 2018,” said Tony Novo, Sky Blue FC President & General Manager. “Their products fall right in line with our objective to promote healthy alternatives for our professional athletes. Additionally, the commitment of triminoTM to both women’s sports and community initiatives makes them an ideal partner for our organization.”

Packed with seven grams of whey protein, B vitamins and essential amino acids, triminoTM is a growing force in the functional water space. The company is driven by innovation to develop products that provide benefits beyond hydration. triminoTM was created by three fathers in Guilford, Conn., as they tried to come up with an alternative beverage for their athletic-minded kids. By pooling their resources, they were able to develop triminoTM as a sugar-free, low calorie protein infused water that offered a healthy alternative to sugary sports drinks and soft drinks.

“We are very excited to be supporting Sky Blue FC and their impact on youth soccer,” says Bob Leary, Chairman of Trimino Brands. “Young athletes are a very important element of our customer base, and the professional players are great role models for these kids. We look forward to a great season.”

As mentioned, Sky Blue FC and triminoTM will be seeking the Youth Soccer Organization of the Year throughout the upcoming NWSL season, and nominations can be submitted online at any time (insert link). The criteria for consideration will include accomplishments both on and off the field, with a special focus being given to community initiatives.
